Week One
This is my second excursion into the land of blogging...my other blog its seems I started a tad early...oh well lol@me..still the early bird and worms and so forth...so there is one thing I have learned this week...my blog is early..the second thing I learned is blogging is quiet easy and fun once you start and get over the flutterbys that invade your tummy doing something new and unknown..of course coffee helps...but I have consumed far too much coffee today...lots more than any human body should...nor should a bottom sit this long on a chair...wow all day...not strictly part of the unit but learnings none the less.. but I digress...bad Nola......oh did I say this is for WEB101...I did ...I also learned how to make a web pressence apart from facebook and linkedin what is linkedin and why do I have that account??? ...I tweeted for the first time..tweet ...after I made an account on Twitter...previously I thought they were British bird watchers led by Bill Oddie..I miss The Goodies..so another thing I have learned to do..Tweet (@nola_mae is me and I even have a follower! I love uni)...wow now I can make comments on Q&A how wonderful...I wonder if I will annoy or amuse other watchers and do the studio guests and the silver fox see our tweets on monitors?..I found out about namechk...and that there are over 150 places to socialise and shop and chat and do all sorts of things on the net, and nola_mae is taken by 5 other people..wow there are that many Nola-Mae's out there...another thing I learned...I also learned that it can be hard to make a blog/web site ...like where on earth can I change the post font... after three hours of sobbing into the puter it was at the top all along...another learned thing..so many...I learned that when that kinda thing happens go to a forum..gosh fixed in a minute..that and why can't I edit my post god the evil antiquated museum piece had a moment and spelled words wrong cause the letters have a bad case of the wobblies and have gone wobbly in the wrong spot...oh it was a simple case of use the old editor...I also learned that there are a lot of fine arts visual culture students here, and teaching students and I.T people and people from all over the place...I learned that the zipped files wouldn't unzip and that I printed the unit info twice...and I just learned Hungry Beast has a internet thing on next week..tv is such a faithful friend.......wow I've learned so much and its only day three of week one... and I learned Ingrid is my first follower on my blog....hey Ingrid...how cool
